You will receive a comprehensive Visit Report detailing all of the work carried out and any advisories. Any small repairs that can be addressed immediately will be, and a return date will be fixed for any larger repairs.

The hearth area will be left clean and tidy. A similar service is also available for stoves that do not have a liner.
Chimney flue sweep and
bird's nest removal
This service is suitable for open fireplaces. The chimney flue is swept using both manual and rotary brushing techniques depending on your flue.
The fireplace’s throat and shoulders are cleaned and swept thoroughly ensuring all soot deposits are removed from the area that most chimney fires start.
Any blockages or birds’ nests will be dislodged and removed. If you know you have a nest please inform us prior to your sweep, as we will allocate extra time to ensure it’s properly dealt with.
Please also note that active birds’ nests cannot be removed during the nest / fledgling season (April - September) according to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
The hearth area is left clean and tidy, and you’ll receive a comprehensive Visit Report detailing all of the work carried out and any advisories.
cctv inspections
Camera inspections can establish the nature of blockages in chimney flues as well as to gain a visual understanding of the condition of a liner in situations such as moving into a new home which has a woodburner in situ but maybe not much in the way installation documentation.

If required, digital footage of the inspection can be made available to customers.
replacement stove parts
Firebricks and baffles can crack or disintegrate. Steel or cast-iron baffles can warp. Door rope seals can fray or become compacted meaning they’re no longer gas tight. Door glass can crack. Glass gasket seals can deteriorate, leading to them to no longer being gas tight.

Contact us if you have any questions or issues relating to the healthy functioning of your stove.
Thatched properties
Most insurers of thatched properties require proof of sweeping by “an appropriate competent person”.
